Sunday June 2nd 2013 I was invited to take part in The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) 24th annual ”A Time For Heroes” .
The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation is a global leader in the fight against pediatric HIV/AIDS.The organization has reached sixteen million women with services to prevent transmission of HIV to their babies. I am honored to be an Ambassador to the foundation. The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing pediatric HIV infection and eliminating pediatric AIDS through research, advocacy, and prevention, care, and treatment programs. Founded in 1988, EGPAF works in 15 countries around the world.

With some of the students from UCLA who took part in a Dance Marathon held at UCLA. The participants dance for 26 straight hours to raise money for HIV-affected children. This year’s event raised $475,422.57, which will be split between Project Kindle, the UCLA AIDS Institute and the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation
